Jatiya Sangsad Speaker and Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Chairperson Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury has called upon the Commonwealth parliament members to find out common solutions to global challenges through innovative thinking.
She made the call in her presidential speech at the inaugural ceremony of 62nd Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference in London on Wednesday, said an official release here yesterday .
The speaker said the CPA is a unique platform for inter-parliamentary dialogues.
It has created scopes for strengthening democracy and new innovative thinking in the Commonwealth countries, she added.
