Joint General Secretary of Awami League Mahbubul Alam Hanif called upon the people from all walks of life to forge a greater unity against the evil politics and terrorism of BNP-Jamaat.
“I would like to call upon the countrymen to be united against the evil politics and terrorism sponsored by the BNP-Jamaat alliance.”
He said this on the 15th instant while speaking prior to distribute foods among destitute people marking the 42nd anniversary of the martyrdom of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at the political office of AL President Sheikh Hasina in the city’s Dhanmondi area.
Hanif called upon people to get united under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to materialize the ideology of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
He said, “We will be able to root out the evil force and build a secular Bangladesh if we remain alert.”
“They started dirty politics by killing Father of the Nation and his family members on August 15, 1975, they also tried to kill Sheikh Hasina several times,” Hanif said, adding, “BNP-Jamaat was behind the all terrorist attacks took place in the country after the independence.”
