Concerted efforts of all the government and non-government organizations can be the crucial means of ensuring safe migration for the sake of boosting foreign remittance collection.
Necessary support from the community, mass-media and other stakeholders is also important for supplementing the government efforts of ensuring safe migration of workers successfully.
Experts came up with the observation while addressing a view-sharing meeting with the members of the mass-media in Rajshahi on the fourth instant. Migration Resource Centre (MRC) organized the meeting at the conference hall of Women Technical Training Centre (WTTC) in the city.
Principal of Technical Training Centre (TTC) Imdadul Haque, MRC Councilor Rifat Shahriar and Assistant Director of District Employment and Manpower Office Abdul Hannan addressed the meeting, reports BSS.
Imdadul Haque said the present government has been working relentlessly for promoting safe, regular and responsible migration for the benefit of all concerned. He also underscored the need for proper and effective measures for the rehabilitation of the trafficked victims alongside their family’s integration and reintegration.
