Stocks finish year upward with higher transaction

Economic Reporter :Stocks finished the year 2016 upward on Thursday with rising trend of price index driven mainly higher transaction of some large-cap securities including engineering, pharmaceutical and textile sectors.DSEX, the major price index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), added 8.13 points at close to finish the day at 5036.05 which was the highest after November 3, 2014 when it closed at 5065.14.
