Police recovered the body of an unidentified youth in a sack from a paddy field at Balunda village in Benapole port thana on Sunday.
Quoting locals, police said local people found a sack in the field in the morning and found the body of the youth in it.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Jessore Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Officer-in-charge of Benapole Port Police Station Rafiqul Islam confirmed the incident.
A case was filed in this connection.
