Police recovered the body of an unidentified youth from Hashimpur area under Chandanaish upazila of the district yesterday.
Being informed, police recovered the blood stained body of the youth aged around 25 from Hashimpur Pathaniya Pool area on Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway around 10 am, said SM Badiuzzaman,
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Chandanaish police station, a sources of Chittagong district police said.
The body bore several marks of injury, the OC said, adding that miscreants might have killed him and left the body near the highway. The body was sent to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy and an UD case was filed in this connection.
