The Bangladeshi multinational electronics brand Walton has greatly stressed on manufacturing environment-friendly energy saving refrigerators and compressors.
Of late, Walton initiated a project of phasing out Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), that are mainly used in refrigerators and air conditioners and also contributing to the global warming through depleting ozone layer, says a press release.
To support Walton implement this project successfully, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) joined its hand with the local electronics giant through signing an agreement of world’s first ‘Complete HFC Phase out Project’.
