Road Transport and Bridges Minister and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Wednesday ruled out understanding with BNP because of the indecent expression of the party chief Khaleda Zia.
“There is no courtesy in her (Khaleda Zia) approach. She uses to address Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as ‘Hasina’ which hurt our feelings. That is why the political understanding with them will not be possible,”
Obaidul Quader said while speaking at a discussion meeting at the National Press Club.
National Press Club organised the programme on the occasion of recognizing the March 7 speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as world heritage by UNESCO.
