The under-16 Divisional Football competition begins today (Sunday) with four matches are slated on the opening day at the two separate venues in the city.
The venues are Bangabandhu National Stadium and Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium at Kamalapur. A total of eight divisional teams split into two groups, are taking part in the meet. The semifinals will be held on February 16 at Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) while the final is slated on February 18 at the same venue. Participating teams:
Group A -Dhaka, Khulna, Rajshahi and Barisal.
Group B – Chittagong, Mymenshingh, Rangpur and Sylhet.
