Rafique Ahmed Chowdhury alias Choto Mia(72) , uncle of the Kadalpur UP under Raozan upazila in Chittagong was brutally killed by some miscreants at his residence in Kadalpur village on Thursday night.
The victim is the uncle of chairman Taslim Uddin Chwodhury. He was killed in his bed room, sources said. Sources said the victim used to stay in his new residence in the same village lonely and other members of his family including wife reside in faternal house which is one kilometer off of the new residence. Victim Rafique Ahmed is an affluent person and posses huge properties and wealth. After sensing the murder of Rafique Ahmed, UP chairman informed the matter to Raozan police . Police rushed to the spot and sent the body to CMC Hospital for autopsy. Sources said he was killed with stabling and strangulating .
A family member sources said this new house of Rafique Miah was looted by dacoits earlier two times. Family members also said on that night, about one lakh taka looted from his , our Raozn correspondent sources said. Sensing the news of murder, Asstt.Police super of Rangunia Jahangir Alam and OC of Raozan Thana Kefayetullah visit the residence o f the victim, sources added.
