The Investigation Officer (IO) of sensational three brothers killing incident of Kabirpur village under Sailkupa municipality in Jhenaidah district submitted the charge sheet against the killer uncle Iqbal Hossain Mia.
Sub-Inspector and investigation officer of the killing case Emdad Hossain after one and a half months submitted the charge sheet in the court on Thursday afternoon, said the court sources.
Iqbal Hossain, an expat in Malaysia, son of Golam Nabi Mia from Kabirpur village under Sailkupa municipality area in the evening of January 3 called his younger brother’s two sons Mostafa Shahin and Mostityafa Amin and his sister’s son Mahim in his room and burnt them alive spraying petroleum confining them in the room.
Later locals rescued the body of Mostafa Shahin and Mostafa Amin, while sent Mahim in a critical state to Jhenaidah Sadar hospital
where he succumbed to his injuries. The locals caught Iqbal from the roof tops of the house and handed him over to police. Delwar Hossain, the father of Mostafa Shahin and Mostafa Amin, filed a murder case against his elder brother Iqbal Hossain with Sailkupa police station.
Court Inspector Abdul Bari said, killer Iqbal in a confessional statement to the Senior Judicial Magistrate Abdul Matin under the section 1164 said that he had killed his three nephews.
