UN Women Bangladesh (UNWB) Representative Mia Seppo said that her organisation was willing to cooperate in Gender Statistics Project (GSP) as it would play a vital role while submitting development reports to the government.
“UN Women Bangladesh (UNWB) wants to contribute in the creation of Gender Statistical database so that it could be included in the development reports while submitting them to the Bangladesh government,” said Seppo on Wednesday while paid a courtesy call on Women and Children Affairs’ Ministry Secretary Kamrun Nahar at her office.
She mentioned SDG implementation, Commission on the status of Women (CSW), Beijing plus 25 and Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) among the projects needed to be reported this year.
Other high officials of the ministry were present, along with secretary, at the meeting here.
