United Nations Deputy High Commissioner for Refugees Kelly Clements has visited Rohingya camps in Cox’s Bazar and listened to the sufferings of the displaced Myanmar nationals.
She came to Bangladesh on December 3 and spent Monday and Tuesday
in Cox’s Bazar to see the situation on the ground, said an official on Wednesday. Clements will meet the high government officials in Dhaka before her departure on Thursday night. She also met government officials and UNHCR’s partners in Cox’s Bazar.
Clements is likely to share her Cox’s Bazar experience with media on Thursday afternoon.
