The final of the 2nd Walton Mirza Farid Smriti Hockey Umpires Tournament 2016 will be held today (Wednesday) at 4 pm at Maulana Bhashani National Stadium in the city.Meer Saber Ali Hockey Five will meet Nanna Da Hockey Five in the final.Meer Saber Ali reached the final eliminating Sabbir Yusuf Hockey Five by 9-6 goals in the first semifinal on Sunday while Nanna Da confirmed final eliminating Abdul Malek Chunnu Hockey Five by 14-9 goals in the 2nd semifinal on Tuesday.Satellite TV channel ATN Bangla will live telecast the final match.The champions will get a prize money of Taka 16,000 while the runner up team will receive a prize money of Tk 8,000.The tournament began with six teams — Abdul Malek Cunnu Hockey Five, Sheikh Nurul Islam Hockey Five, Mir Saber Ali Hockey Five, Shabbir Yusuf Hockey Five, Nanna Hockey Five and Nazim Uddin Mollah Hockey Five — on July 20 at Maulana Bhashani National Stadium.
