ULAB wins Fair Play Cup Cricket

University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) beat Manarat International University (MIU) by 7 wickets in the final match of the 7th ULAB Fair Play Cup Cricket Tournament on Wednesday.
Winning the toss, ULAB elected to field first. MIU scored 105 runs by losing 9 wickets in stipulated 20 overs.
Anjum Ahmed Jassy of ULAB took 3 wickets is his spell of 4 overs, giving 22 runs.
In reply ULAB scored 109 runs by losing 3 wickets in 16.3 overs. Hasanuzzaman of ULAB scored 50 runs out of 45 balls only and was adjudged Man of the Final. He nominated man of the match for the third consecutive time.
Mahbub Anam, Director, Bangladesh Cricket Board was the chief guest of the closing ceremony while The Special Guest was Richard McInnes, Head Coach of the National Cricket Academy at Bangladesh Cricket Board.
Mahbub Anam admired the initiative of ULAB authorities to promote cricket in the country. He handed over the Champions Trophy to Asif Pathan, Captain of the ULAB team.
Adjudicators awarded Hasanuzzaman of ULAB as the Man of the Tournament for his 203 runs.
Chinmoy Roy was nominated the Best Fielder of the Tournament.
Rushdi of IUB was nominated as Best Batsman of the Tournament for his first hundred of the tournament and 179 runs altogether.
Tanvir Ahmed of ULAB was awarded Best Bowler of the Tournament for his 9 wickets throughout the tournament.
