In association with Yunnan Open University (YNOU), China, International Office of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), a wing of ULAB Career Services Office has arranged an international study tour program in China for ULAB students titled ‘Experiencing Chinese Language and Culture Course’. A team of twelve students started their journey on 7th May, 2017 for eleven days and returned on 17th May, 2017 under keen supervision of Director of ULAB Career Services Office Abu Hena Md. Rasel.
Through this study tour program ULAB students learnt basic Chinese Language and culture in propinquity of Chinese natives.
They also learnt Chinese Calligraphy, Knots, games and visited scenic and historic places in and around Kunming, China. After completion study tour program, Yunnan Open University awarded certificates to the successful participants through a grand joint cultural program.
Above all, this is an initiative which opening the door of opportunities to higher study for ULAB students in near future in Kunming, China.
ULAB family congratulates the participants for the great learning experience, explore a new country and represent ULAB in China.
ULAB and YNOU, China signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on January 10, 2017, paving the way for collaboration via faculty and student exchange, joint research and publications, joint art exhibitions, seminars and academic meetings, setting up a Chinese Language Centre at ULAB, conducting special short-term academic programmes, and internship arrangements for ULAB students in China.
