Prof Imran Rahman, Vice Chancellor of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) and Sunil KC, CEO of Asian Institute of Diplomacy and International Affairs (AIDIA), Katmandu, Nepal, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between their respective institutes at ULAB, Dhanmondi in the capital on Sunday.
These two institutes agreed to sign MoU for improving the scientific, academic and research level, exchanging information and giving opinions on topics relevant to diplomacy, political, economic, social and peace studies, international relations, foreign policy, regional and interregional development.
Promoting and intensifying the friendship and mutual understanding they will maintain regular dialogue and exchange of information about their activities and facilitate the exchange of their publications, science and research papers, periodicals, as well as other published materials on topics relevant to the issue of an interest for both sides.
They also agreed to consult on the possibilities of conducting joint trainings, conferences, round tables, symposium, seminars and other events for mutual interest.
Juditha Ohlmacher, Member, Board of Trustees, Professor Brian Shoesmith, Senior Advisor, Strategic Planning, Prof Jahirul Haque, Pro-Vice Chancellor, ULAB, Prof Milan Kumar Bhattacharjee, Treasurer, Lt Col Foyzul Islam (Retd.), Registrar, ULAB were present in the ceremony.
