ULAB School of Business (USB) of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh organized a seminar entitled “What are the skills fresh graduates need to enter in the service/banking sector” at ULAB Auditorium of Dhanmondi in the capital on Sunday.
Kazi Masihur Rahman, Managing Director and CEO of Mercantile Bank Ltd was present as the main speaker of the seminar. He talked about the skills, qualities and competencies looked for by the banking industry when recruiting fresh graduates from the market. He also motivated students to work in the banking sector.
Prof Imran Rahman, Special Advisor to the Board of Trustees at ULAB, delivered the opening address and welcomed the speaker. Abdul Baten, assistant professor of USB, other faculty members and students were present in the seminar. The seminar was wrapped up with a lively question and answer session.
