Staff Reporter: The third Bangladeshi coronavirus infected person has died in Sylhet on Sunday.
The 61 years old woman was an UK returnee and was put under isolation at Sylhet Shaheed Shamsuddin Ahmed hospital with coronavirus symptoms.
She breathed her last at the Hospital around 3:30am, said Premanando Mondol, Civil Surgeon of Sylhet.
Including her, Bangladesh has so far confirmed deaths of three coronavirus patients.
The woman returned from London on March 4 and was suffering from fever, cough and breathing problems for the last 10 days.
She was admitted to the hospital on March 20.
Debapada Ray, Director of Health at the Sylhet division’s Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said,”We are planning to send her family members, under home quarantine.”
