A team of British High commission in Bangladesh led by its head of political wing of the commission Md Abu Zaki and Ezaj Ahmed visited the residences of AL nominee from Chattogram-9 constituency Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel and the BNP nominee from Chattogram-11 Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury on Wednesday .
They visited the residence of Barrister Nowfel in the morning and Khasru’s residence in the evening. Barrister is the Organising Secretary of Awami League and the Amir Khasru is also the presidium member of BNP and they are contesting in the coming national polls from Chattogram-9 and Chattogram-11 constituencies .The HC team stayed sometimes at their houses and exchanged views . While talking to newsmen, Nowfel said UK High Commission team came over his residence to know the prevailing situation ahead of election. The visiting diplomats enquired the position of the Jammat in next election and the voters of the minority communities. Later in the evening at about 6 pm, they visit the residence of Amir Khasru at Mehdibagh in city and stayed about one hour with him .
