British High Commissioner in Dhaka Robert Gibson on Friday expressed deep shock at the loss of lives in a stampede during ‘Astami Snan’ at Langalbandh in Bandar upazila of Nararyanganj.
“I am saddened by the deaths in Langalbandh during Astami Snan. My condolences to the families,” he said in a condolence message.
