UK Defence Vice-Chief leaves Dhaka

Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach, Vice-Chief of United Kingdom (UK) Defence Staff, left Dhaka on Monday after a three-day visit.
He was accompanied by a staff officer, according to a release of the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR).
Earlier, Air Chief Marshal Stuart passed a busy day on Sunday in Dhaka.
At the beginning of his schedule, in the morning he visited Shikha Anirban at Dhaka Cantonment where he placed wreath to pay homage to the members of
Armed Forces martyred during the War of Liberation in 1971.
Later, he went to Army Headquarters and called on Chief of Army Staff General Iqbal Karim Bhuiyan. He remained with the Army Chief for some time and discussed on matters of bilateral issues.
Air Chief Marshal Stuart also visited Naval and Air Headquarters and called on Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral M Farid Habib and Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Muhammad Enamul Bari respectively.
