A two-day long 2nd UK-Bangladesh E-Commerce Fair 2015 will be held from November 13 (Friday) at the Waterlily convention center of East London. The fair jointly organized by ICT Division, Bangladesh Hi-tech Park Authority and Computer Jagat. The fair will showcase products and services of e-Commerce companies of Bangladesh to Bangladeshi Community in London. The slogan of this year’s fair is- Digital Bangladesh: A Land of Opportunities.
More than 50 companies including-online stores, websites, e-Government services, credit cards and payment services, banking services, e-education, software and hardware, real-estate, telecom, courier and delivery service, airlines, tourism-travel and hotel, fashion house and others-are going to showcase their products and services in this year’s fair. Organizers are hoping that the fair would attract around 50 thousand visitors and five thousand professionals will share their experiences with the audience.
Tofail Ahmed, Commerce Minister will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony.
Zunaid Ahmed Palak, State Minister, ICT Division will preside the programme. Baroness Paula Monzila Uddin, House of Lords; Paul Scully MP, Chairman, APPG on Curry Industry; Abdul Matlub Ahmad, President, Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) and Iqbal Ahmed , Founder Chairman, NRB Bank Limited will be special guests.
