Campus Report :Quality Assurance Proposal (QAP) for the establishment of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in 33 universities of the country was invited under QAP-IQAC ROUND-3. Quality Assurance Unit of University Grants Commission (UGC) invited the proposal call at a ceremony held at UGC auditorium on Sunday. Prof Dr Mohammad Mohabbat Khan, Chairman (In-charge), UGC attended the function as chief guest while UGC Member Prof Dr Abdul Hashem and Dr Md. Mokhlesur Rahman, Senior Operations Officer, World Bank were the special guests on the occasion. Prof Dr Mesbahuddin Ahmed, Head of Quality Assurance Unit, UGC, delivered the address of welcome. Sohel Ahmed, Deputy Project Director, HEQEP presided over the function. Prof Dr Sanjoy Kumar Adhikary, QA Specialist gave the vote of thanks. The chief guest in his speech stressed the need for producing world-class graduate by imparting quality education to keep pace in today’s world. He also urged the Vice-Chancellors to play key-role in enhancing the quality of higher educationUGC Members Prof Dr Mohammad Yousuf Ali Mollah and Prof Dr Dil Afroza Begum were present on the occasion. Vice-Chancellors, Pro-Vice Chancellors and senior academicians of the universities took part in the proposal call ceremony.
