The University Grant Commission (UGC) has removed the red star sign put beside the name of IIUC in the website of UGC on Thursday.
IIUC fulfilled all the conditions set by the University Grant Commission and authority has shifted all academic activities, including the rest four department of the university to its permanent campus at Kumira Under Sitakumda Upazila.
The UGC Issued circular on July 27.
The Vice-Chancellor of IIUC Prof. Dr. AKM Azharul Islam and members of Board of Trustees expressed satisfaction while teachers and students sweetmeats as the good news spread over the campus said a press release.
The IIUC authority has been running seven of the campus department of the university at the permanent campus since before.
All the students of Bahodderhat Female Academic complex and those of the four department of IIUC city campus at Chawk Bazar are now attending classes at the permanent campus.
