University Grants Commission (UGC) held a midterm review meeting with the World Bank (WB) on the progress activities of management, procurement, monitoring, evaluation and connectivity of Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) at the UGC auditorium on Thursday.
Chairman of the UGC Professor Abdul Mannan delivered the inaugural speech on the occasion as the chief guest while UGC Member Professor Mohammad Yousuf Ali Mollah moderated it.
Professor Abdul Mannan put emphasis on regular and effective monitoring of the sup-projects under HEQEP and urged the Project Directors to expedite the project activities.
He also assured the Project Directors of extending all kinds of assistance from UGC for successful implementation of their respective projects.
The UGC members Professor Dil Afroza Begum, Professor Md Akhtar Hossain, Professor M Shah Nowaz Ali, Project Director (Additional Secretary), HEQEP, Dr Gauranga Chandra Mohanta, ndc, Senior Operations Officer Dr Md Mokhlesur Rahman, and representatives of World Bank,UGC and Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project were present, among others.
