A meeting between University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh and the World Bank was held at UGC meeting room on Wednesday. Prof Kazi Shahidullah, Chairman, UGC presided over the meeting. During the meeting, they discussed about preparation of draft Development Project Proposal (DPP) and procurement plan of the proposed ‘Higher Education Acceleration and Transformation’ (HEAT) project.
Prof Dr M Shah Nowaz Ali, Prof Dr Dil Afroza Begum, Prof Dr Muhammed Alamgir and Prof Dr Md. Sazzad Hossain, Members, UGC and Dr Md. Khaled, Secretary, UGC, among others, were present during the meeting.
Dr Md. Mokhlesur Rahman, Senior Operations Officer, World Bank led the delegation.
