University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC) has formed a 3-member committee with its member Prof Dr Md. Akhtar Hossain as its convener to monitor militant activities in private universities. Other members of the committee included Jesmin Pervin, Deputy Director, Private University Division, UGC, Md. Shahin Siraj, Deputy Secretary, UGC.
Concerned dealing officer of the Private University Division will act as Secretary of the committee. The committee will pay surprise visit to the universities at any time.
