Professor Abdul Mannan, chairman of University Grants Commission (UGC), left here yesterday for the Maldives to attend the 8th meeting of Governing Board of South Asian University.
The meeting will be held on February 9 in the Maldives, said a press release.
The chairman is expected to return home on February 10, the release added.
