University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman Prof Abdul Mannan on Wednesday left Dhaka for India to attend the Special Convocation of Kazi Nazrul University, Asansol, West Bengal as the chief guest.
The convocation will be held at the premises of the University today.
Shri Keshari Nath Tripathi, Governor of West Bengal and Chancellor of the University will preside over the convocation while Dr Partha Chatterjee, Minister-in-Charge, Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal will present as the guest of honour on the occasion.
