UGC Chairman Prof Abdul Mannan has been honoured with Australian Academy of Business Leadership (AABL) Award for his outstanding contribution to higher education.
Australian Academy of Business Leadership, Bangladesh conferred the award on UGC Chairman at a programme at a hotel in the city on Wednesday.
A senior offcial from Australian High Commissin in Bangladesh and Prof Dr Dato’ Che Musa, Head of Research and Innovation, University of Kuala Lumpur were present at the function and jointly handed over the award to Prof Abdul Mannan.
Besides, Prof Dr Sirajul Islam Chowdhury, Dr Mohammed Farashuddin, Prof Taslima Monsur, Dr Kazi Anis Ahmed and Prof Dr Rezwan Khan received the AABL Award for extraordinary contribution to the higher education in Bangladesh.
