Udichi Shilpi Goshthi has observed its tragedy anniversary on Sunday. Udichi Shilpi Goshthi and several organisations chalked out elaborate programmes to mark the day. The programmes include wearing of black badges, placing wreath at the memorial, lighting up candle, condolence meeting, blood donation and cultural functions.
Ten persons were killed and over 150 were injured in two separate bomb explosions at the cultural function of the 12th National Convention of Udichi Shilpi Goshthi at Munshi Meherullah Maidan at around 1am on 7th March in 1999.
