UAE post first win the AFC Under-16 qualifiers

United Arab Emirates (UAE) registered their first victory in the AFC Under-16 2017 qualifiers beating Kyrgyzstan 3-2 goals in their fourth group C encounter held on Saturday at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city.
In the day’s match, defender Al Reem Al Baloshi curved a free kick into the Kyrgyzstan net to take the deserving lead in the 13th minute, but Kyrgyz forward Shakhnoza Ibraimova restored the parity in the 37th minute with a solo effort.
UAE midfielder Rawan Al Hammadi put her team ahead in the 40th minute with strong right footer from the top of the box but Kyrgyz midfielder Victoria Dalinger equalized the margin in the 52nd minute.
UAE forward Sara Sameeh’s sealed the victory in the 57th minute of the match.
UAE will play their last group match against host Bangladesh on Monday (September 5) at the same venue.
