United Arab Emirates (UAE) shared points with Singapore as their opening Group C match of the six-nation AFC U-16 Women’s Championship 2017 Qualifiers ended in 2-2 draw at the Bangabandhu National Stadium here on Saturday featuring three goals within six minutes.
Midfielder Hassa Mohammed scored first for UAE in the 32nd minute (1-0) while Medio Dorcas Chu leveled the margin for Singapore in the 2nd minute of the stoppage time of the first half (1-1).
Forward Sara Sameeh again put UAE ahead in the 5th minute of the stoppage time of the first half (2-1) while striker Putri Nur Syaliza neutralized the margin for Singapore just two minutes after the breather (2-1)
Singapore custodian Nur Izzati and defender Venetia Lim were cautioned with yellow cards in the match.
