UNB, Dhaka :
UAE Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr Saeed Bin Hajar Al-Shehi made a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban on Thursday.
During the meeting, the UAE ambassador handed over a letter inviting the President to attend the World Islamic Economic Forum to be held in Dubai from October 28-30.
President Abdul Hamid thanked Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice-president and Prime Minister of UAE and ruler of Dubai for the invitation.
The President is expected to attend the World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF).
Concerned Secretaries to the President Office were present.
