Alvi Ahmed’s directorial debut film titled U-Turn is going to introduce a fresh pair featuring producer turned actor Arshad Adnan and model-actress Airin Sultana in the country’s film industry.
The film will hit countrywide cinemas on May 29, in which Arshad Adnan will be seen playing as a son of National Film Award-winning actor Shahiduzzaman Selim and elder brother of actor Shipan Mitra, while Airin will appear as Adnan’s beloved.
While talking about the movie actor Arshad Adnan told this correspondent, “Actually, I have played an important role in the film to fulfil the demand of its wonderful story. The audiences who have seen me playing different roles in various telefilms earlier, they will discover me in a completely new look. I am grateful to the entire unit of U-Turn, especially to director Alvi Ahmed, who helped me immensely to portray my character appropriately. I hope that the audience will admire my presence opposite Airin in the film.”
Airin shared her feelings by this way, “I believe the brilliant story of U-Turn will pull the audience to the cinema halls. Though this is the directorial debut film of Alvi Ahmed, he made a wonderful film having a soul in its story and uniqueness in the locations. It’s my first work with Arshad Adnan and I hope the audience will like our chemistry on the big screen.”
After receiving the censor certificate recently, Versatile Media, the production house of the film has decided to release the film coming Friday in about 100 theatres across the country, said director of the film.
