Motivated Bangladesh will take on The Maldives in their second group B match of the AFC U-19 Championship 2018 Qualifiers scheduled to be held today (Thursday) at the Hisor Central Stadium in Dushanbe.
The match will kick off at 6 pm (BST).
Earlier, on Tuesday, Bangladesh got an admirable start in the tournament when they forced host Tajikistan to play a goalless draw in their first Group B encounter.
The Bangladesh U-19 team, who has recently emerged as runners-up in SAFF U-19 Championship, played comparatively better in the first half and launched several scoring chances, but failed to convert those lacks of proper finishing, according to a message of Bangladesh Football Federation.
However, Tajikistan came back heavily in the second half creating heavy pressure, but Bangladesh defenders held firm while custodian Mahfuz Hasan Pritom was superb under the bar, foiling a couple of scoring chances.
Bangladesh will play their third group match against Uzbekistan on Monday (November 6) and meet Sri Lanka in their group last match on November 8.
