The Bangladesh U-16 girls’ football team is expected to leave for South Korea on Sunday (July 9) to play a few practice matches as part of their preparations for September’s final AFC U-16 Women’s Championship, which will being on September 10. The girls’ football team will undergo a training camp there and play four matches – one each against South Korea and a women’s football club and two matches against school teams. The team will have their final practices in Vietnam from August 28 to September 7 and head off to Thailand directly from Vietnam for the championship. The girls in red and green recently visited Japan for the second time to play three practice matches after touring China and Singapore as preparation for the eight-team final round championship.
