BSS, Dhaka :
The Bangladesh U-15 Women’s team are all set to keep the country’s flag flying high again with their best effort in the SAFF U-15 Women’s Championship scheduled to begin from December 17 in the city.
Apart from host Bangladesh India, Bhutan and Nepal will play in the eight-day meet that concludes in December 24 with the title decider.
All the matches will be held at Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur.
The girls in red and green will take on Nepal in the opening day’s fixture on December 17. They will play against Bhutan on December 19 and will lock horns with India in their last group stage clash on December 21. After the round robin format, top two teams will play in the final.
The U-15 booters already started their training at the BFF artificial turf last month under the supervision of Coach Golam Rabbani Choton, who is hopeful of making it in the final.
“Reaching the final is our first target. We have every belief that the players will attain their goal. India stands between our dreams of winning the title. We are ready for the challenge,” said Choton, source BFF online.
