Bangladesh U-15 women’s football team will start their SAFF U-15 Championship campaign as they face Pakistan U-15 women’s team in one of the opening day’s matches scheduled to be held tomorrow at Changlimithan Football Stadium in Bhutan.
The match kicks off at 7 pm following the day’s opening match between India and Sri Lanka at 4 pm at the same venue.
Bangladesh team, which has been drawn in Group B along with Nepal and Pakistan, will play their second and final group match against Nepal on August 13 at the same venue.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-final scheduled to be held on August 16 while the final and is slated on August 18.
Bangladesh U-15 Women’s team had one and half hour training at the match venue under the team’s head coach Golam Rabbani Choton. The booters are trying to adjust with the local weather which goes down by 12-14 degree in the evening.
Meanwhile, Pakistan team arrived on Tuesday in Thimphu and both Bangladesh and Pakistan team are staying at the Hotel Ariya.
