Two day-laborers died from electrocution in Bijoy Sarani area under Kafrul thana in the capital early Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Mizanur Rahman, 38, and Abbas, 31.
Police said, Mizanur and Abbas got electric shock when they came in contact with a live electric wire while they were re-fixing a billboard damaged by storm in the area around 1:45am and died on the spot.
On information, police recovered the bodies.
Abdul Kaiyum, officer-in-charge of Kafrul Police Station, confirmed the incident.
