Two construction workers have been electrocuted at Dhaka’s Madhya Badda. They have been identified as Monir Hossain, 45, and Badsha, 32. According to Badda police, the incident occurred at a building under construction at Swadhinata Sarani on Saturday afternoon.
According to witnesses, four workers sustained an electric shock when
window grills they were carrying to the fourth floor of the building came in contact with live electric wire on the street.
They were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital at around 4pm, when doctors pronounced Hossain and Badsha dead. The names of the two other injured have been given out as Mojib and Raju.
Doctors said, they were out of danger.
