Two workers have died after they fell off from an under-construction ten-stored building of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in South Regional Headquarter of the port city on Saturday night.
The deceased were identified as Tofazzal Hossain, 18, son of Jasim and Kawsar Alam, 17, son of Abu Taher of Kishorganj district.
Mahfuzur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Halishahar Police Station, said Tofazzal and Kawsar fell from the building while working around 8 pm, leaving themselves critically injured.
