Panchbibi police in Joypurhat arrested two female drug dealers along with 40 pieces of phencidyl on Monday noon. The detainees are Laboni, 28, wife of Babu Miah of Madhyabasudebpur Hill Station Patti in Hakimpur upazila of Dinajpur district and Aleya Begum, 50, wife of Shafiqul Islam of the same area.
Police Officer-in-Charge Mansur Rahman said police arrested an easybie in front of Panchbibi Municipality on a tip-off while he was on his way from Hili to Joypurhat. Police searched their bodies and recovered 20 phencidyl wrapped in their bodies. Later they were sent to jail in a drug case.
