Aiman Talukdar, 02, son of Lokman Talukdar and Parvin Begum of Nagor Bari village under Agoiljhara upazila of Barishal, died after falling in pond drowned at their courtyard drowned on Tuesday noon.
Afzal Hossain, OC of Agoiljhara police station, said after searching floating dead body of the child recovered from the pond by the family members and neighbors. After brought to Upazila Health Complex attending doctor declared him as dead and body was handed over to family members lodging a case of unnatural death.
In another incident, Sahanur Begum, 47, wife of Siddik Haoladar and mother of three children, died after dried branch of a rainty tree fell on her head on Tuesday morning at Shahjira village under Gournadi upazila of the district.
Golam Sarwar, OC of Gournadi police station, acknowledging the fact said dead body handed over to family members lodging a case of unnatural death.
