Two university students die of dengue fever

Two university students reportedly died of dengue fever on Friday and Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Firoz Kabir, a student of Finance department of 2013-14 session at Dhaka University, and U Khein Nu, a student of Pharmacy department of 2018-19 session at Jahangirnagar University.
Family sources said that U Khein Nu, a first-year student and a resident of JU’s Pritilata Hall, died of dengue fever on the way to Chattogram from Cox’s Bazar on Saturday afternoon.
Meanwhile on Friday night, Kabir, a resident student of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall of DU, died of dengue fever in a private hospital in the capital.
Kabir, who comes from Thakurgaon, was initially admitted to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) with dengue fever, said Hall Provost Professor Mofizur Rahman.
Later, he was shifted to the private hospital where he breathed his last on Friday night around 10:00pm , the provost added.
