Two female SSC examinees committed suicide in Muladi and Agoiljhara and another one attempted to do so in Agoiljhara upazilas of Barishal following their unsuccessful result in SSC examination.
The result of SSC examination of Barisal Education Board published on Monday along with other education boards throughout the country.
After that Happy Aktar, daughter of Mantu Bepary from south Baliatali village under Muladi upazila committed suicide by hanging herself with roof top of the house.
Said Ahmed Talukdar, Sub -Inspector of Muladi police station, said Happy was a SSC examinee from Chhobipur union secondary school and appeared before the SSC examination for the second time in 2019.
Last year she also failed in 4-papers due to death of her mother. She also failed again after appearing for the second time this year.
Hearing the result she becoming frustrated locking a room of her home hanged herself from the roof top and family members after becoming aware informed police.
On other hand, Afzal Hossain, officer in charge of Agoiljhara police station, said Mim Akter, daughter of Kazi Arju Hossain from Vallukshi and SSC examinee of Vallukshi secondary school, committed suicide on Monday night by hanging herself from roof top of the house after knowing that she failed in SSC examination 2019 for the second time.
Tamanna Aktar, daughter of late Hannan Fakir of Fullashri, appeared in SSC examination under Barishal Education Board from Sreemoti Matri Mangol girl’s school of the upazila.
After publishing the result learning that she failed in mathematics, attempted to commit suicide by drinking pesticide.
She was first admitted at local upazila health complex and then sent to Barishal Sher E Bngla Medical College Hospital in critical condition, police sources added.
Police visited the spots and dead bodies handed over to family members without autopsy on request of the guardians and family members, police sources added.
