Some unidentified terrorists shot dead two men at Fulbari rail gate area by the side of Dhaka-Khulna Highway under Kaliganj upazila of Jhenidah on Tuesday early hours.
The victims are Abdul Hadi, 35 son of late Bhodo Dai of Boro-Rajapur village under Jessore Sadar Upazila, Shohag Hossain 30 son of Rakibul Islam of the same village.
Family members said, on Monday night at around 11-30 am SI Masud accompanied with some Detective Branch (DB) police swooped four from the nearby tea stall of the houses of Boro-Rajapur village. On the way to Jessore they stopped at Panch-Bere Bahadur bus stand and free set Mohsin Ali, 17 and Apu Hossain, 16. Police gave Tk 200 each as bus fare. They told that they are taking them to police station.
Shohag’ father Rakibul Islam an Ansar Commander of Bangladesh said, his son along with other villagers were sitting at the tea stall. At around 11-30 pm some DB police accompanied with Khajura police camp SI Masud Hossain reached the village and swooped them.
