Two sacks of onion along with other goods were stolen from a grocery at Puran Bazar in Biswanath upazila early Thursday.
Joynal Ahmed, owner of the shop, said he closed his shop around 12am and went home but found the three locks of his shop broken in the morning.
Two sacks of onion and other goods worth Tk 4 lakh were stolen, he said, adding that burglars broke the close circuit camera in front of his shop.
Shamim Musa, officer-in-charge of Biswanath Police Station, said police visited the shop and will take legal action if any complaint is filed.
