Chittagong Bureau :
A mobile court of the Chittagong district administration fined two pharmacies Tk 1 lakh in Lalkhanbazar area of the city on Saturday for selling physician sample, food supplement and Indian medicine.
Popular Pharmacy and Majhuri Pharmacy were fined Tk 50,000 each and medicines worth Tk 60,000 were also seized from the shops. Meanwhile, the court evicted some hawkers from footpaths for selling fake medicines and seized their items in Shahid Minar area.
However, the hawkers fled as soon as the court reached there.
